Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4spd (M21) Red Leather. Pace Car is in the hands of a new caretaker.
Just found this on Craigs List. Interesting.
Anybody got a house to trade?
Looks like an early 80's Olds wagon in the background so the pictures must be about 25 years old.
Why anyone in their right mind would want to move to that part of Maine is beyond me.Confused

Vette(s): 1975 Stingray Nomad Wagon, with Daytona front, custom hood scoop, dual side vents; 420HP 350; Doug Nash 5 speed; 1980 rear end W/4:11 gears; Cherry Red metallic paint.
Got the Pic, he reposted it.  Man, what a beautiful Vette.  Dont think its really worth the price of a house, Sure do like where he is looking however.
Dont know about the whole thing with it being wider than normal Vettes.  The wagon feature does nothing to the width of the car and the front of that car is as stock as the rear of it.   Also, he wishes that it was a limited edition, it was available to everybody who wanted to purchase one for a number of years.
And, I have had that pic on my puter for (literally) YEARS.   Smells like a scam to me.

Vette(s): 74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles, all original; paint, interior, engine, split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
Thanks for the pic.  Was an interesting read.  Like you said not worth the price of a house.  Even in my town where houses are about $70-$100 K.
I would imagine thats about as cheap as you can find a house for anymore.

What a strange offer.
Wonder if he's for real.  Why doesn't he have a current picture of the car? He probably doesn't even really own it.

I am going to do some searching later me thinks this is a scam. This car reminds me of one that I read a big article on. It burnt to the ground.

Yep Matt that was it. It isn't the same car though. It had been a while since I had read that and had forgotten the wagon / panel detail. Great sad story though.

Either way I still won't be tradin a house for the guys car. Thanks for diggin that tread up for me!
