Actually, I like the Orange color.......it's sasssyyyyyy!!!
ya that's my motto bold sassy ya thats the way I live my life.....car.

[QUOTE=ebo]When will you be back from looking at the Orange one?
Good luck, hope you get to drive it.

Well we will go about 5:00 and if I spend and hour, I would say 7:30, 8:00. I don't think I would be able to take it home. I would be writing a check and I am sure they would want to wait until it cleared before they handed it over, which is going to kill me, I can't buy something and not walk away with it.

Trust me, I am sassy enough for me and the car.

If the Orange one doesn't work out for you and you want me to look at the Sky Blue or the Corvette Tan I can do that, They are about an hour from my home in oppisite directions, Both have thing I like about them,
I like the Sky Blue because it is a private owner for several years. (and it is practically white) I like knowing it is from the Fishers area because most of the homes and neighborhoods are very well cared for, Which looks to be the same of this car.
I like the tan car because it is a not often seen color with lower production numbers. The hand painted pin stripes are another nice touch. I also think with the camel interior it makes for a good color combo.
I am not sure either one jumps out and says buy me to me but then again this is for you and needs to fit your criteria.
So wit dat n mind da ball be n yer court lil Missy....
Happy Hunting......

Did you ever check into the one JPGLYNN had? A '72 'chromie' in decent shape close to your price range would be a much better investment, (and look better too
). Georgia ain't that far and would certainly be worth the trip if the Vette was right. IMHO. ....Or was it red?

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...
Can I hit that little report button on you for cruel and usual punishment

Actually I didn't look at the whole added of the Tan one so I didn't see the close up pictures and didn't see he is will to go down in to the $15,000's. It looks in great shape and the pin stripping is nice. I have always been a sucker for pin stripping. 98% of my cars have all been original in some sort of way and now I drive a '05 gold T&C which you see every time you turn your head
Oh and I like the luggage rack too.

Actually, if you wouldn't mind, I would like you to check out the Tan one for me. It looks like a good deal. I can go that far for a car if I know it is in good shape and I am mostly going to buy it.
You people are too nice. But I guess if I knew what to look at in a Vette I would do the same thing but still, now a days you don't see that anymore. You know how screwed I would have been buying one without the help here. I would probably have a rusted piece of crap and paid $15,000 for it. Thank you all again, I so appreciate it.

TJ there is one catch to all this help.......but it will not be revealed till after you have a vette in your driveway.

Yes I did but what do you guys consider close? Not to make myself look bad but there is a couple of things with going long distance.
For one, I don't know if you guys notice, but I am a woman, believe or not, I really am and I have the stretch marks to prove it. Going to a state where I don't know anyone and going to some strange person's house alone, well isn't the best idea. I don't even want to go to someone's house alone up here. It's a ashame I have to say that but it's the way things are now a days.
Two, if I was to bring someone with me, that would tie up all their time. I have a 6 year olf son that I just spend 11 days in a car camping with and those where not straight through, long day drives. I do have my friend and my husband doesn't care, I mean trusts me, I don't know how thrilled he would be about me going to a state far away with him over night.
So do you guys understand why it is so hard for me to go long distances?
