Morning all. I had to run to work this morning to get my laptop so I could work from home (the little monster isn't feeling well) and I saw a silver C3 with a emblem of Crossfuel Injection or something like that. What is that?
The was driving it slow, I should have just made him pull over and sell it to me. He didn't deserve it if he was going to drive it that way... on I-94!

Lifetime MemberThe last C3's had cross fire injection, I think 81 and 82. The emblem is on the fenders.

Keep your chin up, once this is all over you can contract yourself out for vette inspection service. Just like they do for homes now

[/QUOTE] I couldn't do it. I almost cried yesterday for that poor car. I would get too emotional seeing all those beautiful cars rotting inside. Plus the ones that were good I would want to buy!!

Ok Guys, I got this PM'd to me on the other forum. You guys know what I am looking for now. The nose thing concerns me.
Desireme... I have a 1973 coupe.. $13000
factory 4 speed non power brake or power steering...
I have a pump and brackets to convert if needed but I dont see the need as it is not at all hard to steer
and you dont have a pump to rob horsepower or hoses etc..to leak
just has a/c...I added power windows has LT1 intake winters logo, holly 670 street avenger, new hei tach drive dist ,new tach cable ,new speedo cable numbers match orig, rebuilt 350 , 4 spd, rebuilt orig shifter, new rear bearings, trailing arms, e brakes, all calipers ,ball joints, tie rods ,front springs, master cyl , a/c comp, hoses ,vir, seat belts, new carpet and insulation , new windshield, no rust windshield frame, mainframe exellent, birdcage looks great. all lights work, headlights pop up - down like there supposed to with new bulbs.even the reverse lights work,gauges all work,clock works intermitantly, new aftermarket stereo, I put in a electric antennae I have drove car approx 4500 miles since doing this work over a year ago. rear bumpers still need to be rechromed and it does not have the exhaust tips and chrome I bumped a small generator and put a small hole in the pass side by nose when pulling into my garage , you can see in pic. I was going to have that repaired when I was going to paint it but never got it painted. I would like to get at least 13,000 for it ..but would think about an offer, I am selling as it has been like a garage orniment.
I have this car and a 1971 2w/d blazer and a harley, I am single , and I just dont drive this car.

this is a nice car... and fast ..shifts smooth..
with a new paint job it will turn heads
it gets better than 16 mpg if you cruise

Ok I found out that US Corvettes in IL is BAD BAD BAD and that he also has a dealership in Huntington CA called Unlimited Corvettes. In the BBB he has a D and there are stories that are pretty scarey.
So I am staying FAR away.
