Keep hangin' in there!
With the colder weather approaching, you might see more Corvettes for sale. Some sellers may want to let them go instead of having to pay for winter storage (if that's the case).
I think the fall could be a good time to buy.
P.S. How 'bout that last orange one?

I really like this one. It appears to be in new condition. Price is very affordable. I can't tell if it is a 4spd or not but for the $$$ it could be converted.
Besides that one I found a few other Yellow Vettes for sale for you viewing pleasure.....
Finally a closure to the saga......

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
Ok, I am having doubts about the purple one now.... And I have had more than one person point out to me that it has a white top with tan interior plus other stuff about the color of it.

So I don't know what to do. I don't have anything planned for Sunday and it is only about 4 hours away, so I don't know if I should just go look at it.
Sigh
I was not a fan of the white top on my car either when I first saw pictures. However, I only see the top on rare occasions:
- When I take the cover off at the beginning of the season
- On planned trips when I am far away from home and it rains
- On planned trips far away from home and I have to park outside (perish the thought!)
- On planned trips far from home when the temp drops below 65 degrees (as in the NCM photo below)
- At the end of the season when I put the top up and then put the cover on
You're worried about buyer's remorse. I know there was one Vette that "got away" from me before I found mine and I'm still not happy about that. I also know I saw plenty after I got mine where I thought "what if?"
It's a big decision and you want to be happy with it for the right reasons. We all understand. Don't let our collective lack of patience push your own lack of patience into a decision you won't be happy with.
All that said - GO LOOK AT THE DANG PURPLE ONE!!
Drive it, check it out. Looking does NOT mean you have to buy. If nothing else, it will give you a point of comparison for other cars.

Good luck
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Looks like the rear tranny seal is leakin a little too, other wise it don't look too bad under there
, I've seen a lot worse

I agree, that looked pretty darn nice under that car. Leaks are common, and as posted ealier that is a vert in good condition for the price.
Should make an excellent driver Put cardboard under it.
