1970 vert/ heat riser?

OK Guys the more I learn....the less I know!! My 70 vert exhaust does not have a heat riser valve....but....should it? or more correctly, did it originally? I saw the parts guys have a listing for heat risers for my year, but, maybe they where only for certain cars?? Thanks!Wink

Yup...it should have one. Heat riser valves have been on Corvette engines, with VERY few exceptions, since the first ones in '53, until the late model cars.
