dave, just an added thought here. i am far from a computer expert but working on the 90 was a learning experience. my suggestion would be to repair the things you know are wrong as all the systems are sending info to the computer.
my 90 kept showing the egr code and i went crazy trying to figure it out. turned out to be a vacuum hose someone tried to repair and i found it by accident.
even though the code is for the oxygen sensor it could be something else setting it off. one time the check engine light came on in my 1981 caddy and it was saying the tsp was bad. turned out to be the oxygen sensor was bad. obdI computers are not as advanced as the obdII.
good luck

So I finally took her to my mechanic.
He found a vacuum leak on the intake manifold gasket.
Replaced the gasket.
Replaced the O2 sensor.
Found that the driver side headlight actuator was leaking. Ordered a left one. The box said left. There was a right one in the box. Ordered another left one. Box said left. Right one in the box. Ordered a right one. Box said right. Got a left actuator.
I guess it depends are where you are standing.

Balanced the throttle bodies. (No charge)
Fixed the vacuum lines on the headlight switch (No charge).
Tried to check the timing, but the dampener was way off. It was broken.
Replaced it and discovered that the fan clutch was busted.
Replaced it and saw that the lower speedo cable was touching the exhaust and had melted through. (My fault. The cable was too long.)
Replaced it and all the interior light bulbs. (No charge.)
Tried to fix the cold idle, but ran out of time (I wanted to drive it before I go to F.W, IN.
So now it runs better than ever.

I still have a problem with the driver door handle, but that is another thread.

And the tach is sticking. Not a problem right now.
I am just glad to have it back.

Taking a trip on Saturday, car show on Sunday and maybe a parade on Monday. Cruise-ins next week.
The season is finally starting.

That's why you should ALWAYS identify a part as Driver side or Passenger side....
Not much chance of confusion that way.
Of course, that doesn't mean a flip if the part in the box ain't right(correct) to start with...
Happens all the time around here...
Glad ya got some of that stuff handled, anyway. It's got to be more fun driving now not worrying about it!

I'm just glad (and lucky) I didn't have any problems on the Gathering trip.
I do feel a lot more confident on long trips now.
And a little lighter in the wallet.
