I have a 69' Coupe, 4-speed with a ZZ3 small block and I am considering swapping the original 69' 2" ram horn manifolds for the newly released 2.5" ram horns (I'm not a big fan of headers for a daily driver). Has anyone tried these and did they notice any appreciable difference in performance from them? Would this kind of swap be even noticable (performance wise) on a daily driver with 3.70 gears (the ZZ3 is 'stock' with a 650 Holley carb)?
My current exhaust system is 2" throughout as well and would need to be swapped for 2 1/2". Any advice on where to get a good quality exhaust system (aluminized) that sounds stock (or close to)?
Thanks!

while ive never used them (i do like headers on daily drivers) I would imagine with your 3.70 gears it would help.. you must spend alot of time in the higher rpm ranges with those gears and a larger tube will help in that case.
Sorry I didn't get the link.
But go to E-bay and type in corvette exhaust in the search and start scrolling. There are 4 or 5 days left.
The ad list a complete alum exhaust for 63 to 82. Available in 2 or 2 1/2 inch, for manual or automatic. He either make them or has a lot of them. Price was $220 if I recall.
