Hi AL;
I just went thru the entire brake system on my 72. I had SS sleeved calipers, so I went with VB&P O-ring conversion kit, new rotors from Mid America, new pads from AutoZone, and a rebuilt M/C from Corvette Central. I would look around for specials and or sales from the usual vendors. Check out the thread on Vette Part vendors, one post listed about 20 or so web pages.
I 'm in the process of replacing the brake booster that won't hold a vac.

1972 T Top 454; "Boomer" Latest "upgrades": 1 1/8" front Stabilizer bar. Rebuilt SS calipers with O-ring pistons. Under car Chambered exhaust. Fiberglass rear spring (360lbs/in). I recently got a reman master cylinder, pads and 4 SS calipers and rear brake hoses from AutoZone. I got the front hoses from E-Bay.
