This sounds like a question for the KYSTER MIESTER,in N.Y. once a car is 25 years old you can,you've got that covered,I still have to have the car inspected once a year,but no emmissions check,I have true duals no cats,no problem.Ohio may be different.HEY KEN wake up ,whats the word,OH ZEN MASTER

Yup...it depends on the regs in your state. In Texas, it is 25 years, also. So, you would be able to do it here, or, apparently in NY, also!
I think the nationwide standard is pretty much 25yrs old or older for emiss. exemptions. Check with your local state inspection station.
If there is no emiss. testing there, then you should be good to go.

Wull...da 'puter on yer car only controls the idle mixture, and the timing. You can solve that by changing the carbutater, and the dist.
Or ...you could simply install a dual exhaust with the oxygen sensor, but...I don't know how that would werk out, without the cat.

You guys are killin me.....I bought the vette for my wife to make her happy I typically play with 68 GTO's Petronics is about as complicated as they usually get........The car is pretty cool to work on everything is in a weird place but parts are cheap compared to the GTO's...Sorry but these are totally new to me.

What makes the difference? Its all just Gas Tires & Oil...

Didn't make a diff on an 80, as you can see if you are goin' ta go true duals, then put 'em where they should be!
