Hey Paul, I, just this past week, had my fuel pump replaced. I bought a Carter pump for about $37.00 bucks and paid $150.00 to have it installed. The a/c compressor had to be removed and several other changes were made. I don't think this info helps, its just my story, good luck, Gene (Nam vet 1968-69 corpsman 1st Marines)

Be sure to get a vented cap, tho, or you'll be trying to figure out why it seems to keep running out of fuel after driving for a while!
