OK Guys and Ladies, Who out there has instaled a Performer manifold and a 600 squarebore carb on their car and what did you do about the air cleaner. I talked to Kyster but I cannot post pictures as of yet. I am computer challegened. I would like to use the stock cleaner and it looks like it would work if the rebreather tube were relocated. However, I do not want to cut the cleaner housing and then it not work. What did some of ya'll do. I know someone has installed this Edelbrock Power Package on their car. Help! Incidentally the car runs liked a striped a-- ape. Plenty of power and very good manners for when Mama wants to stroll to town to show off her new 'do. Thanks gang! and hope to see a bunch of you at Bowling Green!

If you have your stock intake, then you should refer to a post i did in the engine forum, that talked about how to measure and check for hood clearance.  This should be a good indicator of fit.
