Hey Guys, supprising enough my wife wasn't to upset about the CC, she loves the sound, it is nice. She did ask me why I didn't put that money toward new leather seats or my performance cam and lifter. I never gave that a thought, I must be NUTS. Gene

This is the last I will say about the CC. I have heard that you gain 5hp without the CC, I have heard you gain 50hp without the CC. My 77 Vette has more pep on top and bottom ends, and again, the sound with these performanc Monza mufflers is great.
By the way the CC I had removed was 4 yrs old. Gene
What more could a man ask for. Beautiful vette, beautiful wife and a beautiful house. I always liked the paint scheme on your 77, w/ the accent stripes, nice touch.IWhat more could say

My wife is beautiful and smart and never complains or argues unless I provoke it, I'm lucky. Gene
[/QUOTE] Does your wife read over your shoulder?
My white 79 with just a test pipe in place of the convertor actually sounds as good as my black 79 with headers and dual exhaust.
