Jerome,
Welcome to the C3VR Forum.. Can't help ya with the Holley but if that Qjet isn't giving you any problems I would keep it.. They are excellent carbs plus they are easy to rebuild....

Vette(s): 1976 Stingray, L48 auto Buckskin/Buckskin Leather originally. Numbers matching.
The Holley 4150/4160 series carbs are a "square bore" design, and your Quadrajet M4MC is a "spread bore" design, so the Holley will not fit a stock Quadrajet intake manifold without using an adapter.

Or you could use a Holley 4175 series carb, it is a "spread bore", and will fit your stock Quadrajet intake manifold.

Also WELCOME Jerome to the C3VR, another thing is when us use the adapter your going to increase the height of the card at least another 1/2", I know you guys are metric over there, but figure another fingers width.
Good luck with the carbs, I have been playing musical carbs with mine for the last 2 years and I'm still not happy, close but still needs work, and they were all Holleys.........

jerome; once you get the carb off ,wiggle the throttle shaft around to see how loose the shaft is in the base of the carb if is very loose dont waste your time rebuilding it.get a rebuilt or new Q-jet or go for the holley ,just make sure it's a spreadbore unless you want to change the manifold too . ron 78

Stick with the Q-jet. A 4150 is way tto much carb for your engine. You'd take a performance hit. I have a spread-bore Holley, professionally rebuilt, for sale if you love Holleys.

If that 650 Holley is a 4175 (Vac Secondaries) and you still have it for sale, PLEASE let me know! I am looking for a 650 / 4175 for my 69' Coupe with a ZZ3 Crate Motor.
I bought the car with a 750 Holley Straight Bore Double Pumper and it's just WAY TOO much carb for even the ZZ3 (it's still only 350 cubes!). I think the 650 would be perfect for a daily driver using stock exhaust etc.
Let me know if it's manual or electric choke as well-
Thanks!
Elm.
