Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
I've got the Mid America chambered duals on my '70...nothing but good things to say about it. The sound is great and the installation was pretty easy.
I also have the MA chambered on my '70 and am very happy with them. The sound is very similar to a Mid Year with factory side exhaust.

I have the Stage II systemn on my '79 & it sounds great. Bought off Ebay, grichardson@mchsi.com is his address. Guys name is Gordon. The system is somewhat mellow at an idle but once it winds up over 3000 rpm it's awesome to say the least. My friend says it sounds like a race car under accelleration, I agree.

This is the same system I got for the '79, & I did not put the cats back on. A Meineke near my shop put it up & welded all but the back "cans" on, just in case I want to change them out. I got the 2 1/2" system BTW.

They sound awsome. Like ads say, sounds like side pipes
but no burns. In the car, sounds louder than the true duals and resonance was very minimal but haven'gotten out to see how they are at WOT. A friend put them on & welded all joints,(I don't care for all the clamps),had to cut 1 pipe for length but look real good with adjustments for tight clearances. Will see how they are with some road miles.

Dave,
I have a chambered exhaust on my 73. It is fine as far as loudness, however it gets a little too loud when you get on it. I am going to put mufflers back on it.
It should still sound pretty good. Straight pipes are a little too much!

I have a 73 with our chambered system on it and it sounds awesome. We manufacture this system as well as the stage two. We also do stock systems. If interested in any more details email me at grichardson@mchsi.com.

Gordon, I just wanted to say that it was one of your systems that I bought. Simply AWESOME, it definitely gets looks when I get on it. Thank you a bunch. You were a great help on the phone before I purchased. It's people like you that make buying products a better process when it comes to laying money out for the Vette.
Thanx again,
Bill A.
ps: How much would you charge for just the rear cans in 1 or 2 steps quieter than the Stage II's? The wife thinks they'll be too loud for a long trip.
