I can't seem to find a complete dual exhaust system with either. I've looked at the major vette parts catalogs. All the 75 use the "Y" because of the converter. I want to trash mine and go with a true dual exhaust.
Know where I can locate a bolt on system?

If there's a true bolt on system, someone in this club will know. Have you considered going to a muffler shop and have them cut your pipe in front of the "Y" ? They can then run new pipes from each side.
Pretty much ALL the Corvette vendors offer true dual exhaust systems. Years ago(1984) before these systems were available I ordered a system for a 74 that fit my 79. Fit great, altho I had to cut up the front pipes for my headers. They came with short extension pipes because the muffler inlets are on the other side of the 74 mufflers. mkapp7879 2007-05-24 12:21:20

You can use the complete "true" dual set-up for the '74 cars on the '75-'77 cars. They fit exactly the same. The reason no-one advertises them for '75-up is that it's illegal. You may see a small blurb on the ad that states, "'75-'77 for off-road use only", or "Not for use in California on pollution controlled vehicles". The fact is, most states exempt cars 25 years and older from emissions requirements, so it is, basically, "legal" to do it. You may have to do it yourself, tho, because it is still illegal for an automotive shop to remove the converter. Just depends on your area, and how well you know the shop.

You will need to install a center exhaust hanger. If your car has
a 4-speed or Turbo-400, you can use the '74 hanger. If you have a
turbo-350, there is a hanger available that works. We carry it a

I went to true duals last summer. I bought the system for the 1974 cars from Mid-America and then I bought ceramic coated headers. If I wouldn't have done the headers the system would have bolted right on. I had a muffler shop fab. what I needed to get into the lead in pipes from the headers for $20.00 bucks. Then a buddy of mine did the welding on the system to help me put it in. The whole job took me a bit over 4 hours headers back. In Ohio the 25 year old and older rule applies with removing the cat. LOADS more power and the sound...Man I love it!
