I know the topic of fuel aditives and octane boosters has been covered in the past, but I ran across a new product that I was wondering if anyone had seen or used - Dyno-tabs. These are essentially fuel system cleaner/octane booster tablets you add to he fuel tank instead of using the bottled cleaners. I'm somewhat skeptical, though I have used the octane boosters in a bottle and seen some improvements in engine performance. It would be nice to have these tablets to carry in the car for each fill up. Any thoughts?

I have seen recent news reports on some product like this. I'm not sure if it is the same, but, the news wasn't very good!
Seems the product was more snake-oil than real. There was also a concern about contamination of the fuel system, and other issues. I wish I could remember the name that was used.
(I don't want to disparage a good product because my memory sux!!

I also saw a news story. The are actually the same as moth balls. No different. As the reporter said "Don't waste your money"
