I have just installed new SS exhaust on my 69. As everyone knows, the pipes go through the frame. That is where the union is. Now when I drive the car, the U-bolt rattle against the frame(heatshield bracket). Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I don't want to weld it together because if I ever have to take it apart, that will make it much more difficult. Any ideas? Anyone?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I think there's supposed to be a hanger there, holding the pipe in the middle of the hole. Joe
Does your exhaust rattle increase or decrease with rpm's?. Mine did this and I thought it was something in the driveline. Drove me crazy!!
