Anybody know of a quality exhaust shop in Chicago's western suburbs? I need a good shop to make sure the system clears a new fiber rear spring and hangs correctly.
Thanks.

Thanks.

Sorry, no help on the exhaust system but I can tell you that I've been told by many a c3 owner to wrap the exhaust in manifold wrap where it passes within a couple of inches of the fiberglass spring.
Good luck with your hunt!
PS - Ask around at a local car show, especially the street rod guys. They know all the best custom shops.

I have read some articles that say never to use exhaust wrap because it aids in the exhaust pipes ( and headers )to rot faster.
Thanks for the suggestions. I found a shop about 3 miles away. Perfect work, all bent from stock on hand. Aluminized 2 1/4, manifolds back. If anyone needs exhaust work for any Corvette year, try www.flp2win.com. $500 all parts and install.
