My 77 L-82 vette is leaking fuel when the engine is running.
The fuel leak literally drips down on the exhaust on the passenger side where the fuel lines are run.
I know the this leak is the fuel line, either the pump side or the return.
I am getting a lift installed on Monday and know this is the first issue I need to deal with.
I have looked at all the shop manuals and parts books I can find. I noticed that the fuel line on both ends is rubber......(ie. Tank to line, and Pump to line) are both rubber. <----This is what I interpret from the manuals.
When I look up parts I can only find the fuel lines for the Pump for feed and return to the tank.. I am having issue finding the Tank to fuel hoses.
What I need to find out is what the size of the rubber fuel hose that connects both the Fuel Pump and Return lines FROM THE TANK. I am sure the parts do not exist, or they are just a couple rubber fuel lines that do not mean beans except serving a function, no weird bends or whatever...
I would just like to know if I can go to the parts store, find some hose and replace it straight up.
I know this car, I bought it from the family, I have driven it and worked on it 20 years ago. It has been sitting a very, very long time and needs me. I know everything rubber on this car could be disintegrating, and everything cork has shrunk. I have some carburetor questions...
Thanks everyone for your help!

on my 75 there are metal lines that run from the tak to the front and
stop almost even with the fuel pump. they are on top of the frame. from
there they change to rubber to go to the fuel pump. the feed is 3/8"
and return is 5/16". the feed line is premolded which possibly could be
gotten in an auto store but they do have in some of the corvette
places that you can order from. unless your pump is located different
than mine i would check the line going from the pump to the card as the
rubber hoses (which may need replacing anyway) are under the exhaust.
hope this helps.

Yes but you can just buy a length of hose for the rear. The front needs the "S" shaped hose or it will restrick the flow of fuel to the pump.

both lines run side by side to the front of car where both change to
rubber. as brian sain the 3/8 should be the molded hose and 5/16 can
just be reg fuel line. make sure you check the line going from the fuel
pump up to carb as that would be the only line i can think of that
would leak gas on top of exhaust.
