Hey all,

Just returned from a deployment to South America, I hated missing the gathering but duty calls.

Anyway, jumped into the Vette for a ride and could not get it to run worth a crap at high rpm.  I think it is the fuel system.  I plan on ordering a mechanical fuel pump that has a 6-8 psi rateing and 110 GPH flow rate from Summit.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

If it's been laid up for some time you may just need a carb kit.  The gaskets dry up after a while and let air in all the wrong places.  you may also have crap fuel after a long time of inaction.

Or maybe even as simple as a vacuum hose split somewhere.  Although this would tend to show up at lower revs.

I was only gone few weeks.  I replaced all my filters first, carb is fairly new.  I will recheck my vacume.

 Thanks,
