I blew out a collector gasket on the way back from Hot Springs, not bad but just loud enough to be annoying around town. I put in a set of the copper replacements today. These are supposed to last forever. Has anyone had any experience with these? Just wondering if they are worth the 20 bucks I paid for them
. I replaced the bailing wire with new muffler hangers from the one that broke on the way to Hot Springs. Nice and quiet (Well as quiet as Flow Masters can be!) and no more vibration.
Any day working on a Vette is a good day!!

I had the gaskets blow on me then went with the big block exhaust donuts. The fit indside the collecter flange and header muffler.Never had a problem after that, every so often just check the bolts for being tight.

Thanks! I will see how these do, so far so good!!

I would rather pay a few extra bucks for the higher quality and longer life if it meant I didn't have to do the labor again.
Sounds like you made a good decision to me.
