Hello everyone. I just bought a set of FlowTech Headers and was going to do the install myself. I have never done any major exhaust work before. I tried to find installation instructions from the online site for the headers but was not able to get anything. I know the A/C unit and the brackets have to come off and then the factory exhaust manifolds come off and the exhaust pipes need to come off as well. But, I don't know if there are other things to be concerned about while doing all this. Do the spark plug wires and spark plugs need to be removed or the altenator or anything else? Sorry to be so ignorant about this but, it's my first time with headers.

Any help grately appreciated.

I will comment since this is one that should be handled by out tech staff.   But we just launched an all new website(s) for all brands and there every product that had an instruction sheet is linked where you can download it.

Yes you will need to pull the plug wires and plugs out to just make life easier.  Simply mark the wires to the appropriate cylinders.  To simplify the install you can use some masking tape to hold the gaskets to the headers in two places so it does not slip out of place.  Once you have bolts started you  can pull the masking tape out or just rear off at flange.  It will eventually deiteriate.

Installation may require optional brackets, but I have heard no complaints about these headers going in or their fitment.  Just follow their instuction sheets.

The ac will need to come off, but can be layed over to the inner fender.

Ifn your installing headers you dont have to use tape just put the front an back bolt in just enought to hold the headers up , then install your gaskets. they should be slotted so you can drop them in place, then put the rest of your header bolts in.
