I'm going to have my engine rebuilt soon and want to get rid of the stock rams horn exhaust manifolds. I'm debating on whether to get shorty or full length headers. I've heard you don't gain much from the shorty headers? On the other hand, I'm concerned about losing any more ground clearance with the full length headers. I could use some feedback on this and what brand is perferred. I am going with ceramic whichever I get. Thanks in advance for any advise........

I use Hooker full length myself. like you I was concerned about ground clearence because my car is as low as I can get it now without the tires rubbing, from the bottom of the collector flange to the groung is close to 4", no problems yet but I do creep over speed bumps and keep an eye out when driving.
