Anyone else with Hooker's (or any other headers for that matter) find that they "loosen" up at the block?

are you using locking header bolts ??
headers do have a bad problem with this behavior..
locking bolts solves the problem..

Nope - I'm not using locking header bolts but I'm going to order some!

Actually, I do!

Seriously though, my last set of Hooker Headers would work loose when I first put them on. Didn't know about the locking bolts then either so I would just carry a wrench in the car to tighten' em up when I could hear it was loose. Eventually it seemed to "seat" so I figured that these are just 1 year old and only a few months of actual use so probably the same situation. But I think the locking bolt route is the way to go.
Glad to see that my post title got some attention/smiles. I guess there's nothing like good head-line to put a smile on your face.

As far as I know they make two types, the Stage One type that is a three piece type with a hex head bolt, locking flat, and a C-clip, and a swedge type with a hex head bolt and locking allen in the center of the bolt, the stage bolts are kind of a pain because you have to sometimes file the flat to fit the hex head to fit tight against the header tube, the swedge type has a split tread, after you tighten the bolt all you do is run the allen in tight and it spreads the the split treads on the bolt which keeps it from backing out, which ever one you use drive the car a while and check the bolts for tightness before locking
