It's time to change out my stock mufflers. I've been looking at several web sites and listening to audio clips. Has anyone used MagnaFlow mufflers on their Vette? Does anyone know where there is a sound clip of these performance mufflers?

I have 3 customers with them on their cars . Two are vettes and the other is a mustang and they all sound very strong . I like them myself , but it is a matter of taste and it would be a good move to try and locate someone with a set and decide for your self . Good luck ,,, BTW they are very well made ,,excellent construction .

Thanks for the responses. Mufflers don't get changed out too often so I want to choose the right one. This car is very stock, and still has the original exhaust system. I want her to sound like a Corvette should, not a Honda, but I'm concerned that a Flowmaster will be too loud. The specs on MagnaFlow look just right, but I have not heard one yet. Any other recomendations will be welcomed.

The flowmasters are available in three series that deliver three different sound characteristics . Just something to keep in mind while shopping .

Well I put a set of Magnaflows on. These are some of the highest quality mufflers I have seen. High quality construction. They are a stainless steel performance muffler straight through design. The sound is deeper than stock at idle, as soon as you get above 2000, the sound begins to drop off. At highway cruising speed I cant hear them. Performance increase at the low end not noticeable, but definite increase at mid range. If you are looking for a loud muffler, these are not for you. Overall I am satisfied but would like it to be a little louder. Then again, I would also like another 100HP, headers, and sidepipes!

I have a pair of Superturbo's on mine right now. With the headers and the solid lifters it sounds like a Winston cup car which is kind of neat, BUT, they are LOUD. I find myself coasting every time I see a cop and I can honestly say I'd be happy to swap them out. I would definitely look for something in stainless since water typically collects in the lowest corner and will rot out your new mufflers before too long. If you're keeping the car for the long term the extra investment will be worth it.

Well, a nice set of hookers ( full length ) and a 75 hp shot of nitrus will cure your desire for the extra hundred ponies
. Might even cost ya less than a grand. They say that back in the old days, horses used to cost about $10.00 each so is that still a fair price per HP ???

Just installed a pair of Magnaflow Turbo XL's on my 75. Great tone, and volume's reasonable ... at least until I stand on it, when it's Loud Snarl City. Perfect! I'm running roller rockers and headers (along with heads, cam, intake, modified QJ,MSD ignition and gear drive).
These are my second Magnaflow products. Put a full catback with Magnapacks on my son's cammer Mustang Cobra about a year ago. Very aggressive ... Turbo's don't boom as much.
