In 1968 Chevrolet offered N11 off road exhaust but no side exhaust what exactly is the difference between off road exhaust and stock exhaust?

Mike -
I don't know if anyone has answered your question or not. but the only difference between a standard exhaust and a N11 off road exhaust is the off road exhaust has fewer baffles in the muffler for less flow restriction and are supposedly significantly louder than the standard muffler.

Guys,
Thanks for the reply. I contacted paragon (Parts People) and they explained about the baffles. I have just installed them, the parts cost about $200.00. They make the car 427/390 sound a little throatier with slight back fire on down shift. Overall i am very happy with the change.
