Anyone know of a source for pair of NOS Mufflers for my 68 Coupe. Need them for NCRS judging.

.............. Major reason why I "sometimes" get a bad taste in my mouth
about the NCRS....
A Nice 35 year old car (and from the picture nice is very much an understatement) the NCRS boys want you to put Original Mufflers on it
Sorry I do understand the Game... I just do not play...

I'm so frustrated with the NCRS standards. Just when I think I've
got it licked, then I find out something else is wrong. For
example, chrome exhaust tips. All repro are stainless but
originals are steel. So I check my car. Yes, mine are
chromed steel and look great. So I've got it made right!!!
Wrong, I see they have measurements in the manual. I measure
mine. Mine are different. Well, back to the drawing
board. My most recent quest was locating the proper horn
relay. $160.00 later, yes I have the dang thing. Who needs a
stupid horn anyway? So how do you find a muffler that they
haven't made in years and mufflers wear out. At some point in
time no one will have an original that hasn't rusted away.
Just venting!!!

Unfortunately I've been shorted there also in life. They are 1/2 inch too short! I'm thinking that with a little work, I could weld 1/2 inch of tubing on to the small end and then get it polished and rechromed. That will be my last ditch effort. Otherwise I get a pair of stainless for $39.00 and take a slight deduction in points.
