Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.

Now that I've got the gas tank, trailing arms and differential out, thought it might be a good time to replace the metal fuel from the tank to the pump. How tough is it to snake around, looks like over the wheel well could be a real pain.

lift the body, or get enough one piece 3/8's tubing to do the job with some extra, feed to the rear first, have a helper work in the RR wheel opening to shape tubing as it comes through, when you have enough tubing to the rear, run the rest to the front, cut to fit, either way its a BS job.

There are at least 4 bends right at the "kic-up" on the frame. They gave me a bit of trouble even with the body off.

I have a new line setting in a huge box in the corner of my shop. I couldn't even get a wrench up on the bolts to remove the old retaining clips to even attempt the replacement.  So I'm going to just keep the old line for now.

I've got the gas tank, trailing arms and tranverse rear brake line off, so if there's ever a time, I guess it's now. Thanks for all tha advice, I'll let you know how it goes.
