Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(

I'm looking for some nice mufflers for my 70 stingray.  Right now it's straightpiped and the sound is aggressive, but rather loud, rough, and even hickish sounding...the stock mufflers made the car sound neutered, and well it's not real easy to hear mufflers before you buy and install them.  I want something that's high performance so that it won't restrict exhaust flow or anything, at least too much, and something that will retain the rumbling that culminates in an aggressive roar at the higher RPMs, but not as ear-bursting or as rough and course...I'm thinking about Bassanis maybe, but if anyone has ideas for me...in fact the best thing would be if you guys had some sound clips for me.  Appreciate it, thanks!  Go watch my music video if you haven't already, posted in C3 General!

Go to JEGS. they have a baffle that you can put in the pipe to mellow it out. They have a 1 disk thru 3 disk. I have chambered exhaust and it was way loud, I took the pipe apart near the rear diff and pounded in the 2 disk baffle, took alot of the bite out of the sound, still loud but not as bad and sounds real nice when your foot slips

I go withDyno-max headers and Flowmaster muffs. It sounds so sweet I turn the radio down so I can listen to her purr!!! I order a lot of modify parts from Summit Racing. I'm sure they will have a good idea to make your 70 sound good.
