Well we pulled the tank on the LT-1 and even before it came out we could tell it was way too clean.
It wasnt the original tank. Dang it.Cry
But hey I doubt the sticker would have been any good after all this time anyway.

There was a little gas leak from the cork gasket near the filler so I will get that fixed.
Gas leaks arent something I wanted to overlook.

One would feel pretty stupid if the car burned up and one knew there was any kind of gas leak wouldnt one?LOL

I cant wait to get the car back togather!

Sorry you didn't find the birth certificate, but glad you got the leak fixed.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Oh well...at least you had the opportunity to look for it, and repair a leak at the same time.

Well she ain't no Virgin but now your mind is at ease that she is sound. For me that outways the other.

I have seen a chrome bumper burn to the ground a few years ago after the MAM show. It was a sad day.... expecially for that new owner.

Thanks everyone. I guess you always hope you will be one of them folks who find a perfect tank sticker. But once I started smelling gas at the back of the car I knew that was a bigger fish to fry and if there was a sticker, so be it.

We have the original radio sent out to get that fixed so I can play some music over the cambered exhaust.
We wont get the radio back for another week or so.
We are doing alot of little stuff I wanted fixed but I am looking forward to driving that bad boy again!
