Hi, I am having trouble finding a Spark Control Solenoid for my Corvette 1971 LT-1. There was an incorrect carborator on the car when I bought it and the correct one is on but we're having a problem locating this part. Any one have any ideas? I have checked some online parts people and a local GM Dealer. I was told it was a GM only part by Zip Products. When I called a GM distributer, they told me they only had the part listed for a '70 and '72 LT-1. Do you know if this part is interchangable with any other part?

As a follow up to my question, would anyone have a '71 emmissions illustration describing whether or not this part actually exists or if it is bypassed?
