DON'T wear shorts and don't let yer wife get her legs against them.  Before I put the fiberglass covers on mine, the wife burned her legs (both legs, one twice...she's a slow learnerRolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing) on one trip!

If you don't like 'em LOUD, don't get 'em.  I love mine, but it is difficult to carry on a conversation if you have the tops out crusin' or are at less than highway speeds.

I wouldn't take for mine thoughThumbs%20Up  Mine are the ones you can get thru Ecklers or Mid America.

have to be really careful of the burning issue as dennis said. wife was in a friends and got a third degree burn on her leg. she told me not even to think about putting them on my 75.

i saw them on ebay before and thats when my wife told me no deal. they seem to me to be of good quality. i also emailed them a question about them and they answered quickly and throughly with pics to show the hook up. good customer service .

These have a perforated cover over the pipe so I don't think the burning of skin is a great as say the Hooker version which is made to burn the crap out of you!

For $275.00 this seems to be a smoking good deal. He sells the adapter kit seperate. For this kind of money unless the chrome goes bad or they rot out fast you can try them for a while and if you hated them sell them and get your $$$ back.

Yeah that is a killer deal! How long does chrome usually last on exhaust though? I know one of the powder coat shops here can do the jet hot coatings for exhaust, that might be a way to extend the life of them if the chrome goes bad. Still a killer deal!

Heat doesn't effect the chrome. Think about the exhaust pipes on a motorcycle. They don't go bad out of the jug they just turn colors (blue / gold, etc.)

So, if the chrome is good then it should last a long time. I would want to know if the covers are removable for cleaning and storage. If they are removable I would take them off and store them. If I didn't here in Indiana they would start to rust. Being perforated they will be hard to clean up.

looks like a good deal. be careful. As everyone said ,they do get hot. I think anyone that owns sidepipes has at leasat 1 burn scar. It comes with the territory. Call it you vette tatoo.

Super deal, good idea to have the screen to prevent burns. I have many tattoo's from my pipes.

Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe

Will you need a connection between your headers and these side pipes?

What is available? Does the adapter kit they offer work for your setup?

Is there a guarantee on the chrome? If it is thin, it might flake off after one season.

if i remember correctly my question to them was about hooking it up to headers.the kit they supply i believe were for stock manifolds but they said it can be done.
