Vette(s): 69 Conv #'s match 427, TKO-600/.64, 3.36HD-Posi, HT, T/T, PS, PB, PW, SP, Leather, Comp XE264HR & Roller Rockers & Lifters, Air-Gap RPM intake, Holley St Av 770 VS, MSD 6AL+Dist+Blaster SS, K&N, Jet-Hot Hooker Side-Pipes, Steeroids, Al Rad, Spal Fans
I like the look of the hooker side pipes...
you can get the header and side pipes as a kit..
prepare to open your wallet though..
ecklers only sells the small block for the c3 and is 1699 for chrome, 1199 black..
mid america doesnt seem to sell them
corvette central had them for 729 black, 1199 chrome for SB and 839/1299 for BB
then your looking at another 159/189 for mufflers for SB/BB
and 60 for the alternator bracket.
going with stock style... looks even more expensive and conencts to regular exhaust manifolds.
does anyone know where to get these cheaper??
i need a chrome BB set...

I shopped a local speed shop, still paid dearly but I really liked the ceramic coated look. I put them on a modified '73. I used Hookers, they fit well and not a big deal to install. After that, the intake and carb were changed and that car would haul the mail!

how does the how does the ceramic coating color compare to the color of the stock aluminum rocker mouldings..
im concerned about having too many different colors..
I already have burgundy, black, chrome, rally silver..
and the aluminum rocker panels (which i planned to paint black with black side pipes...) but im intrigued with the coated finish.
summit seems to have the best price i can find on these sets...
too bad "midnight auto"
cant come up with these...

Vette(s): 1971 T-top. I just had car shipped from my parents house in florida where it has sat for over 12 years..It is going to be a long project!
I am ordering hooker sidemount from Jet Hot Coatings this week, $1100, includes shipping and sidetubes, i havent seen in person but pics are good. Looks better than ceramic, not quite as bright as chrome.

Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.
HEADER-LOOK CHROMED SIDE PIPE KIT WITH 3" DIAMETER PIPES

The web page is www.jet-hot.com Im still working on getting the pic thing down. My car is still in pieces, engine is rebuilt but not in. I finished putting in the rear end yesterday and hope to finish brake and fuel lines next week, and yes finally the engine. This last time I drove this car was when I was 17yo (1980), so I cant wait to start her up.
