The only thing worse than putting a set of hooker side mount headers and exhaust on your vette is having to do it twice.

I recently purchsed a set of hooker super comp ceramic coated side mount headers and exhaust from SUMMIT RACING.

After one month on the car the  headers started to rust. In addition I could not get the side pipes to stop leaking at the joint to the collector.

Summit kindly replaced the rusted headers and a new set of pipes , but i still have the exhuast leak at the collector.

Can onyone give me some advice ?

thanks, Bob

Anyone here from wisconsin? When I was a kid(long ago), everyone was saying side exit exhaust was illegal in wisconsin. Just wanted to know it it was true.

I HAVE HAD MINE ON AND OFF A FEW TIMES RECENTLY ( PAINTING, AND CHANGING HEAD GASKETS ) NO LEAKS , LOOK REALLY COOL, UNBELEIVEABLY HOT, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU EXIT YOUR CAR. MAKE SURE YOU WARN ALL YOUR PASSENGERS, OR IF YOU CAN GET THE PROTECTIVE SHIELDS.
