Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.
This question is for the Masters of our hobby.....
I'm guessing I'm the 3rd owner of a my '72 coupe/small block/4 spd. The previous owner kept strict records of all work done(kudos!), but couldn't shed light on this question.
Front ride height is a little high, about 3.5" between fender and top of tire to be exact. The front sway bar is 1" diam. with poly bushings, and the coils are black powder coat. Were stock springs black? There was also a rear 3/4" sway bar added (strong indication this guy meant business).
Question: If I was to install stock springs, could that bring down the nose? Another question: would older used springs bring it down even more?

Man, I just realized how stupid my "other" question about the used springs was. One of the reasons you replace springs is because they wear out. Duuuhhh!!!!
Anyway, does anybody out there know how I can lower my Vette a couple of inches in the front. Thanks.

Lower rate springs will do it. I don't recommend cutting springs. While this works, it make the ride very harsh.

Thanks, Ken! So that's the official unveiling, huh...

Has potential and you're just the guy to do it, too.

Hopefully, different stages of transformation will be made available to us.

One rough puppy, isn't it? That will change. The new digital camera will remember all.
