Thanks Bob.  Found out today CARMAX believes cost of repair (installing missing parts) and cost of emissions test and inspection is $150.  I'm on it.  Whlesale cost of car is $6,000.  I agree I can't go wrong.  Posts on here have been outstanding, and I sincerely appreciate all of you who have taken the time to post.  I've been involved in many forums for many topics and this, by far, has been the most helpful I've experienced.  Knowledgable, no nonsense help and advice... awesome.  Thanks again, everyone.

Flash,

If you need any air pump parts, I still have that stuff lying around. It's off of the original '81 engine. Let me know. I don't need to run emission junk here in Western New York anymore.

Thanks Sarge,  will keep that in mind.  Right now it's on CARMAX to fix... hands are tied.

BTW, great looking Vette you have there!
