I'm getting ready to pull the carb to find out why the secondaries are hanging up just ever so slightly open at idle.(80) It ahs all the original emissions junk on it although I don't think the vacume advance is connected to the right port on the carb. I would like to at least get that right before I start taking things off. Does anyone know which is the correct port for the vacume advance or how to determine which it might be.
Thanks for the help

I assume you have the same Q-Jet setup that mine did before I changed it. It had the vacuum advance connected to the port on the Right side near the front corner of the carb. |thumb|

There may be two ports at that point. If so, use the one that has no vacuum at idle, and has vacuum when the throttle is opened a bit. The other one, if there, will have vacuum all of the time the engine is running.
