How do I replace the charcoal and the filters in the vapor canister on 1980 corvette. I tested all the valves and lines and everything is working properly.

Hey Rodney, check on Corvette Central tech tips.

I checked corvette central for the tips and could find nothing under vapor or cannister are they calling it something else

So I just come across a great piece on rebuilding it shows how he opened up the canister and resealed it with jb weld where the bands hold it on the car, and apparently bought the charcoal at a pet store which is used to keep tanks clean. So there is one idea
I removed filter from bottom of canister and cut half of the plastic grille out.
I bought charcoal from ocean of pets. Made filters for top and bottom of canister. Reassembled and glued the bottom back on.
