Oh yes Joel I am sure people wish they did not take off the Em stuff..I am glad they did..makes a complete system worth that much more..ok as in diverter valve are we talking about the check valve that is in the exhaust manifold air pipe..it's where all 4 pipes come together??? You can see it by the PCV valve.. I like original stuff also and will be taking apart the pump to see what I can do with it.

The diverter valve is bolted to the rear of the smoggin pump.....
Rich, the valves you are talking about are the check valves.
Mickers, Larry has a smog PUMP that will work. Since you said your's has bad bearings, you will need to either replace it, or have it repaired.

I found a smog pump before I posted this..........still need a diverter valve. I found this on Fleabay:
But.............this seems to be a diverter valve siliencer. I don't think this is the part I need (it's too cheap too
). I think the one for $800 sold already. What's this cottin' pickin' thing supposed to look like?
The part they took off is at Cedar Valley.?

Ok check on the check valve..I haven't done anything else to the car but to make sure that the check valves worked..I put the pipes on the car when I got it..they were the original ones that were taken off some time in it's history..I painted them..they still had the hoses and clamps on them.. and yes the part that you found is just a muffler type peice..not the valve itself..get the old one back dernit!!! oh and Joel how do you these little circles and stuff on these pics??? Really neat thing..
Smog Pump Diverter Valve Silencer 66-70
That is just the "muffler" for the div. valve...not the actual valve.
Why do they say it needs the diverter valve, anyway? Is it melted? If it is, then you'll also need to replace the check valves. The check valves are basically one-way valves, that will allow the fresh air from the smog pump to go into the exhaust. If the check valves are bad/defective, they will allow exhaust gas(hot!) to flow into the smog pump/diverter valve, which will eventually damage both components. Moisture/humidity will also damage the pump eventually.

Shhhhhh....Ancient Chinese secwet!!
Actually, I use the "Paint" program for Windows to do the edits and stuff(like re-sizing) on the pics. I first "save" the pic to my hard-drive, and edit it from there. Won't work on a Blueberry, tho...

Whew! My head is spinning. The pump we have is complete including the diverter, pulley, and brackets.
I assume you are asking about the radiator core support. They are $239.99 new. We might have a used one, depending on which radiator you have. Is the thing under it the crossmember? New ones are $150.00. We hae a used one for $75.00.
