Money spent would be better off on headers if the were not already installed.
As far as C3 exhaust true duals would be hard to beat.

The install on the '76 looks like you'd never be able to get the driveshaft out if ya needed to. Granted, what they show IS listed as a prototype system...
The concept is valid...the equalization of exhaust pulses from side-side does help in the scavenging effects of the exhaust, which in turn helps with being able to get more fresh air/fuel into the cylinders. It will show on a rolling/engine dyno, but on the seat-o-the-paints dyno?...not so much.
The solid-axle cars had cross-over pipes...

I had the catalitic convertor removed and had straight pipes installed. She sounds great and regardless of who says not she definitely has more power, much more. If you are afraid of the law have the cc reamed out and welded to one pipe, it looks like the CC is for real. Gene

The H pipe is designed to do the same thing from the factory but doesn't maybe have as smooth of a flow as Joel indicated.
If I had to buy one it would be Bassini. Only beacuse I like there advertising phlosophy......

Installed pipe under spring area. It also cutts down on decibles or vibes inside of car. It does change exhaust sound.
After first trying to repair the original system on "BIGBRRD" we ended up ripping it all out. Put in a Pypes X-pipe and Flowmaster Delta 50 mufflers but didn't have enough time behind the wheel before the car went into the bodyshop to know if there was any difference in performance. When the car comes back a full tune-up will be needed to dial in the rebuilt Q-jet with the new headers and the pipes. Just guessing that it will have more "go" than the original setup.
