Here's a question for all you 69 owners - Do you have them? Everything I've read says all came with 5 port washers with two going to the headlight low beams. Mine doesn't have them and the previous owner said he's owned two and neither had them. In checking the bezels, I found no holes for the jets but the car was repainted and they could have been filled. Cars I've seen at cruises haven't had them either. Just curious

they were commonly removed but they did exist.
most people thought the spray pressure was weak and blocked off the port going to the lights and used it to unsplit the wiper ports.

also the pump for a 69 is a 3+2 port

it has 3 ports on the passenger side

1 input, two outputs, one of which splits and goes to the wipers. the other goes to a solenoid valve on the drivers side of the motor that controls the headlight washers

it was a one year part and most of them have been replaced with regular three port washers.

a NOS correct 69 wiper motor with pump and solenoid valve costs around 650$..

i just bought a correct 69 wiper hose kit from docrebuild.. it has hoses for light washers.

my last 69 had them but they were disconnected

I have the headlight washers. I also have a late build date (Oct 1969). Is it possible early build dates might not have had them?

Thanks for the input guys. I noticed there's a complete assembly on ebay now fully restored for $400. The ad states it's for a 71. I think I'll stick with the 3 port for now.
