How about some more details on the car...motor, options? These will have an impact on the value, but IMO $8,000 is a steal on a chrome bumper Vette.Daytona6938561.6294907407

Do you know any history about her? Been in any accidents? Milage? Motor and drive line? As long as the frame is solid and you don't see any major problems, $8K for a 69 sounds good. You will easily put another $6K into it to get her to where you are proud of her. But that's what this hobby is all about.

hi all,

its has 73k on the clock

the engine was a 350 300hp but was replaced with a small block

I guess a 350 but will check on that.

the body has some cracks and may have been repaired but I still have to check more on that also

the car was inside and a little dark to see that good. but after seeing what chrome bumper cars have been going for It should be a steal.

thanks

Sounds like a bargain to me, too. It all depends on the quality of the repair work, if it's been wrecked. It might still be a good deal, if you can get it cheaper. Everyone needs a driver!!

I'm a little confused - the 350ci is a small block.  I don't recall if the 327ci was offered in the '69s but I believe the 300hp and 350hp versions of the 350ci were both available.

The 327 was last offered in 1968...after that it went to 350. Chances are this car is a 350.
