Vette(s): 1970 Corvette Convertible LT1
Hello Group,

I am new to the forum and new to classic Corvette ownership. I've met some great guys from the local Vette club and they have been very helpful in helping me acquire a nice C3.

I've recently purchased a 1970 Corvette Convertible LT-1. It is Mulsanne Blue with Blue Vinyl interior. Love the car. All numbers (with the exception of the alternator and starter) match and have correct date codes. 65,000 miles.

I am looking for any extra information or history on the car and thought I'd post in this group. The serial number is as follows:
194670S405809
The car was originally sold in Rochester, NY (Palmyra Auto I believe) and then sold to Turner Corvette in Victor, NY. Bill Turner bought and sold the car 3 times, the last time being in 2000 to Mr. Ian McGuffin. The car was then brought to Ontario, Canada.

If anyone has any information on the car or knows of the car (previous owners, stories, etc), I would really appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks,

Bruno Vendittelli

Check with the DMV in the state. They charge by the page but can get you names etc. some have details on their websites.
