Hmmm, I've had valve covers off of many cars over the years and always managed to get them back on on the correct sides. For this price you'd think they'd get it right.

Can't help but think there's SOME restoration on it. What with "police report" and all. Nice Vette, tho! Too bad it's RED!

The car was stuck in a "private museum" for 38 years, after being driven home new from the dealership. Apparently, there were some legal issues that required police/lawyer intervention to get the car out...possibly the owner of the "museum" died, or had IRS issues...it's happened to several "private museums" in the past...

Wow is that what mine looked like when it only had 147 miles, now it has 147,000 miles and she has a few wrinkles now. makes my jealous about how much nicer it is than mine and also makes me sad to know that it has not been driven.
oh the pain of it all.

I agree the story behind this car would be of interest. The ad says they offered this car for sale when it had only 15 miles on the odo. You would think Michaelis and the ProTeam folks would have made sure the magazine writers (Corvette Fever, Vette, Corvette Quarterly, NCRS Restorer, etc.) were made aware of this car.
