For a couple of years now I have been researching the 1975 Corvette (27 or 27L) Steel Blue paint production time line.  The Corvette Black Book says that the Steel Blue exterior was available for approx. three months.  I need your help!  The trim tag is located on the inside the drivers door on the door hinge pillar post.  Please check yours to see if it has a 27 or 27L paint code.  If it does (even if it is no longer painted that color) I need some basic information from you for this research.

I have some of the info I need for this study from the c3vr data base of the Steel Blue cars listed, but it doesn't tell me everything I need.  The more proof I have the more accurate the study will be.  I am really trying to narrow down the time line of production for this rare color.  My interest in this started when I purchased my own Steel Blue Corvette, and I know there is interest from other Steel Blue owners.  Also, I am very near proving that there were no L82 optioned Steel Blue Corvettes produced.  The earliest factory L82 1975 I've found was produced in March, and so far I have not found any Steel Blue cars produced that month or after.

Please, contact me directly at brettwhite72@yahoo.com if you find you have any 1975 Corvette with the Trim Tag Paint code 27 or 27L.
Please I need all the assistance I can get on this research!  Thank You.
