Super job Joe
That car is really sweet, it must make you grin from ear to ear. Hope to see you at Carlisle.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Great looking Vett, Purchasing part by part is an expensive way to go. But you can truly say you know where everything is and how they connect.
Not a lot of people can say they build a Corvette. Only the young would take on a project like that and competed it.
Now that you can get it on the road get a good set of calendar pictures so we can all enjoy it next year.

this has been a dream to rebuild a vette from scratch since i was a teenager.
I had no idea what I was in for, or how long and expensive it would be, but had a great time doing it !

Looks great - I'm jealous! Awesome work. The '76 steering wheel is a nice touch! I think that's the first time I've ever heard of anyone swapping one of those in to a different year - but they're probably plentiful since so many 76'ers get rid of their's! (I'm going to keep mine for awhile, but my red wheel and column wouldn't have looked too good in your car). So did you have any donor cars available?
WOW! Nice job.
Yellow and black is real sharp looking. Takes a lot of determination to complete a project like that.

Dave,
Thanks!
Also, thanks for letting me know what year my steering wheel is !!
I bought it at Corvettes at Carlisle and was told it would fit my year.
That is how i bought most of my parts! LOL.
No, I did not have a donor car, but it would have been nice.
