A 69 L88 went for more than $560,000. It had original paint, interior, numbers matching, black on black, 427 4 speed. I wish I had that much money to burn!

A black/black '69 L88 is prolly one of, if not THE meanest looking Corvettes on the planet. Clean, original ones are super hard to find...most were taken out and hammered to death from day one. Half a mil for one like that isn't out of the question....

I'm also surprised that it didn't sell for more.

I'm sure you'll find broken shards of Mr. Piggy(and prolly the rest of the Piggy family) behind one of the buildings at the auction site....
