Lookin' good!  I've always loved that color and it looks great on your car.  Oh, and going back to your poll about the rims: I must admit I like the Cragars slightly better, but both look awesome!

Well the car is ready to go. I completed all the things on my list that I thought needed to be done for the trip to Ocean City for the vette weekend. I wasnt sure it was going to work out. I will even have heat for the trip which is good because the highs are just in the 60's during the day. Cant wait to see what the gas mileage is going to be. Thanks to all for the kind words you posted in thread. I hope to add some pics of the weekend sometime next week.

well here I sit in Ocean City! We left home around 2:45 and arrived in Ocean City at 6:15. The car ran great all the way here. Tomorrow I will fill up with gas to get an idea of what mileage I got on my 175 mile drive. It was a great afternoon for a drive in the vette. The sun shining down the whole way. I drove with the top up. My top speed from my GPS says 87 MPH. I dont remember going that fast but I must have if it says that. The car ran very smooth. I was surprised at how quiet it was while driving at 70 MPH. With the 4:11 rear and the 200r4 trans I was taching 2450 RPMs. At 80 I was at 3000 RPMs. Not sure what 87 was but I'm sure more then 3000! lol I think I almost made up my mind I like the car and will keep it!
I'll keep you up to date on the rest of the weekend.
Look forward to seeing Barry and Dan this weekend.
And how about "bigtoe", I havent heard if you are going to be here.

Went to the gas station this morning to fill up and check the mileage. Got 14.1 MPG on the drive down. I cant complain about that. We went and registered this morning then put the top down and went for a drive around the area. The weather was great as the sun shined down on us. The funniest thing about the day was as soon as I parked at the hotel a guy came over and ask if I would consider selling the vette. I said sure which surprised him. Of course he said How much and I threw out a number. He called his wife and told her to bring a check along. Then he looks at me and offers me $3500 less than I told him so I laughed at him and walked away. He followed me and ask if I was serious about selling. I said yes but only at my price. He gave me his business card and said I need to call him this week.
Now the best part of this story is that once I got back to the condo i decided it was time to figure out what I had invested in the car. Yes Ebo I now know that number! And the price I quoted him was around 5k less then I would have to have. Guess its good he didnt take me up on the first price. Now it will cost him more as the show special is over!

I did see Barry, Dan and Hank later this afternoon and all cars looked good! Cant say that about the drivers! lol

More to come tomorrow
Rodney
