Hey everyone - new to the group and I thought I'd post some pictures of my latest project. Nice original car purchased in June from the original owner, but it needed a whole lot of love. Looks like the best way to post pics is Photobucket, so hopefully this link will work. Double click the first photo to page through the pics and see the captions. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'd appreciate your thoughts on where do I go from here, total restore or drive and enjoy ?? Thanks, John

Hey WV, thanks for the reply and I think your handle is great !! 6th of October and we all know the faucett is going to turn on any day. Thanks for the heads up on the NW group, just sent my contact info to Mark, hopefully he's still the right guy. Just looked up Lake Oswego OR. and ironically Portland is where my car came from. Purchased new from Ed Randall Chevrolet on 1-31-73. The original owner lived in Portland and it was stored out in a shed for 20+ years in Timber OR. Hope to see you at at the next NW event.

Excellent job of documenting all the pertinent numbers/codes. Car may be a little rough, but it looks like it's all there...that's the important part!

Thanks guys, I am retired so I've got a lot of time to spare and this one has kept me out of trouble this summer.

Rules for happy retirement:

1. Keep wife happy

2. Work on a C3

3. Keep wife happy and

4. Keep wife happy

I joke, but my wife (35 years) has been great. She loves the cars, the people we meet and the places they take us. She shakes her head at some of the projects I take on but she knows I'm a bit OCD and I won't quit till something is done to the best of my ability.

First C3, purchased in 1976 @ age 19. Last C3, hopefully not for a long while !!
