Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Do it right the first time and take car of the car and it should be around for a long time. Have fun with the rebuild and make it "YOUR" car along the way. I will be checking out your progress. Looking forward to your updates.
Thats what that good Canadian salt will do!!! Good luck Craig, it's more work than I would care to do. I got lucky with mine.Keep us posted.
oh my GOD. The photo's took my breath away. I can not believe a car was able to roll with a rusty frame like that. I cleaned and painted the underside of mine last summer, and thought it had some bad places around the body mounts #4, but this is incredable. I wish you luck my friend....your dedication is admirable. Keep us posted on progress!!!

That frame looks like it was found and pulled from the wreck of the titanic! Good luck with the restoration! your other vettes are nice too.

Vette(s): I own a 1974 L48 white/red automatic, a 1976 daily driver L82 4 speed and a 1979 L48 automatic.
When I found this vette it had been sitting under a tree behind a garage on the grass for 10 years. Also the owner had drove it in the winter.
I have all the mechanical receipts from the day it was purchased from the original owner and the owner from which I purchase it from. Can you imagine what this car would have looked like if it had a metal floor instead of the fiberglass one. I belive it would be still sitting where I found it.
I have started to sandblast all the suspension parts this weekend and spraying primer on them as they were blasted.
I'm starting to have fun now as everything has been taken apart and ready to sandblast and paint.
I should have more pictures to post around Xmas time.
I'll be sure to let you guys know when there posted.
Thanks for the support.
